Rachel Masory is the Deputy General Counsel for Golden Gate Capital. 

Previously, she was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she concentrated her practice on complex cross-border and domestic transactions, including the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies, hedge funds, and private and public companies in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and growth equity investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, equity and debt financings and “special situations” transactions.

She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, magna cum laude, and her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she received the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership.

She is a member of both the California and Illinois bar.
