Jon Adams is Senior Privacy Counsel at LinkedIn. 

As part of LinkedIn's dedicated data protection team, his role is to help build out consumer privacy tools, draft and implement privacy and security policies, negotiate data-driven transactions, and advise on privacy and data protection in product development.

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Jon was an Associate in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's Privacy and Data Protection and Technology Transactions groups, where his practice focused on privacy and data security in the transactional context. 

He worked with clients ranging from start-ups to public companies in industries including: retail analytics, CRM, the sharing economy, cloud services/ platforms, financial services, information security, networking, mobile advertising, educational technology, wearables/internet of things, logistics, healthcare and gaming. 

Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Jon was an Associate at Sidley Austin in the Privacy, Data Security and Information Law and Technology Transactions groups.
